What a lively place, I like it here, they have proper posh shops, I can see the Albert dock, the eye, etc, I had to be dragged screaming out of the Cath Kidston shop cos I was licking the pretty flowery bags....
......sigh.......where is that lottery win??!!
I wanna be a wag, haha before anyone says it I am 2 letters out of 3!!!!!!

Good for you Miss Mysti. Liverpool is a fab city. So trendy and happening, and the people are great, very sharp and witty, and such lucky men to have your lovely self visit them in mid January ! Whatever you do don't mention Maggie Thatcher though... Enjoy lots. Have you been to Liverpool 1? That's uber chic.

Surely a tiny thong to contrast nicely with the huge bras is also required?

It is great word isn't it!!! I like 'shenanigans', me. Oh, and 'malarkey' too. Also 'flibbertigibbet', but that's generally more tricky to shoehorn into your average conversation..... xx

Ha Ha, well done miss Mysti, showcasing good old Irish phrases into general speak on such an elegant forum as this is to be commended my Dear. Shenanigans is used here all the time. How about "galavanting"?, "banjaxed" Or "gobshite"? There's three for you. Flibbertigibbet is a great multi syllabic word. Terry Wogan used it frequently. But it is a little hard to drop into your average, across the garden fence conversation alright. Handy to bring it up when all goes quiet in the snug though... Hope you still enjoying your travels xx

Good to see you've got some of the local lingo down pat already, Mysti. But hopefully you'll be introduced to more of the Scottish tongue soon.

Caveman & Mystique, it's obvious that the 2 of you cannot get along so if you both stay away from each other on this forum, don't comment on each others threads or make references to each other, I think it's for the best. No need for either of you to acknowledge this post, I know it will get read by you both.
