Are escorts getting back to work?
« on: May 29, 2020, 12:40:09 »
Brothels are opening up in Switzerland. Their health minister is opening them up before contact sports start. He said escorts knew how to be safe. Isn't that a refreshing view.

I have seen agencies in the UK taking on new escorts. There also seems to be interest in taking paid advertising. Is this all to early?

Photogirls have been running Webchat services during lockdown

They currently hope to start taking 'meet' bookings from 1 July

As long as they think it is safe to do so

This date may be delayed based on circumstances at 1 July
If you have to ask, you weren't there

I saw elitecourtesans start up this week. My local one2oneescorts have just said they were opening next week. Not heard about the MK and Northampton places yet.  Tentative moves by some independents who are considering starting in June.

How are Sex Workers supposed to go back to work, when the government has now made it illegal to have sex with someone from another household ?

I spotted this in a blog for a commentator on law. Apparently it is all a tangled mess and many police forces consider in unenforceable.

Quote
However, it includes a number of exceptions, including “for work purposes”.

Regulation 7 is a corker - prohibits two or more people from separate households from any interaction on the same property

One of the exceptions is work

So a visit from a sex worker is lawful but not from your partner if they live elsewhere

My wife also mentioned it, was in the Guardian Coronovirus news feed yesterday.

(3) For the purposes of this regulation—
(a) there is a gathering when two or more people are present together in the same
place in order to engage in any form of social interaction with each other, or to
undertake any other activity with each other;
(b) a place is indoors if it would be considered to be enclosed or substantially enclosed
for the purposes of section 2 of the Health Act 2006(a)

I see Adultwork has removed the COVID-19 information about visiting working girls

is this a coincidence ?

EDIT/
